About OptionClaws

OptionClaws is a quantitative options scanner. It screens the whole optionable market against filters you define, ranks the results by return, probability of profit, and liquidity, and gets you to a short list of candidates in seconds instead of hours of manual chain-flipping.

What it does

OptionClaws covers 22 options strategies: single legs like long calls and cash-secured puts, income structures like covered calls and credit spreads, and multi-leg trades like iron condors, butterflies, calendars, and diagonals. Every strategy shares the same filter engine, so you can screen for delta, days to expiration, implied volatility rank, annualized return, probability of profit, liquidity, and dozens of other quantitative criteria, then save a scan and come back to it later.

The tool is built for people who already trade options. It does not include beginner explainer text in the app itself; the collapsed "What is this trade?" section and hover tooltips are there if you want a refresher, and the strategy guides at /learn cover the mechanics in more depth for search and reference. There is no journaling, no backtesting, and no broker order execution. OptionClaws finds the trade; you decide what to do with it.

The data

Quotes, greeks, and volatility are refreshed intraday and delayed by 15 minutes, on every plan. There are no tiers that reserve fresher data or extra strategies for a higher price. One subscription includes everything.

Working from an AI assistant

OptionClaws also runs as an MCP server, so you can scan the market directly from Claude, ChatGPT, or another compatible assistant without leaving the chat. See /connect for setup instructions, the tool list, and example prompts. Every MCP tool is read-only: assistants can look up symbols and run scans, but nothing places a trade.
